Meditation vs. Mediation

My mind is wrestling with my thoughts. Lots of stimulation from the world, sounds of traffic, pets running around, the washing machine and the low hum of the furnace. I am trying to settle down, relax transfer to a calmer state of mind. I tell my myself stop racing you are going no where when you overthink but only to Worry Lane of life. Get off the merry — go — round. How does one do this . . . one way is meditation.

Meditation is on many folks to do list. The new age of becoming aware and controlling your thoughts, slowing down, relaxing, going into a state of mindfulness, concentrate on your breath, clear your Chakras. The practice of meditation brings you to this mystical feeling and its been around since . . .

The oldest documented evidence of the practice of meditation are wall artsin the Indian subcontinent from approximately 5,000 to 3,500 BCE, showing people seated in meditative postures with half-closed eyes. .. oldest documented evidence of the practice of meditation are wall artsin the Indian subcontinent from approximately 5,000 to 3,500 BCE, showing people seated in meditative postures with half-closed eyes. ..

Now that you know the facts, here is the practical definition of meditation — is about training your awareness, being present, its an intended practice of being calm and mindful. So how do you achieve this state?

Is meditation a mediation with your mind. A compromise to slow down, to actively think about the perspective your ego has vs. your intuition.

Mediation is a process to resolve conflict between to sides with a third party. Personally the third party to me, is your conscious. The ego is the party girl doing what she wants, staying stagnant, being in the comfort zone not willing to take the risk, the leap of faith or doing what you dreamed of being one day. Unwilling to step out. Meanwhile, your intuition is calling upon your subconscious and your spirit to step out of the comfort zone, become your true authentic self and initiate a higher energy, walk into the state of self discovery and control our triggers to become unaffected by other’s action. Our emotions are the messengers to remind of ourselves of our shadows, how to overcome them with a reflective mirror so our energy can be in alignment for our state of well being.

So take that deep breath thru your nose filling that balloon which is your stomach, stop, think and then breathe out thru your nose softly; a whisper exhale. Do it again and again. How many times maybe 5 or go for 10. Do you feel the relief now that you have released? This simple task may have been challenging, because you had to slow down and concentrate. You had to mediate with your mind what your intention is not what you do naturally. This takes consistency and practice. Remember it takes 40 days to create a new habit.

Posture is key here. When you are most proud of yourself or strutting your strengths and you have your best jeans on and you are wearing the smile of confidence, light is beaming through your eyes, standing tall and aware; it this becomes pure body language and shows through naturally. Where am I going with this? This stance and feeling of pride allows you to vibrate to a higher energy where your shoulders are back and you can breathe more clear with a higher stronger breath right up to you third eye. Why the Third Eye, because it is the Chakra of opening your intuition.

Your intuition allows your mind to think beyond, become more aware, there is a higher state of wisdom just because you now have the knowledge to achieve with a higher conscience. Discover a comfortable Meditation practice and open your energy to flow into a state of self discovery and become who you are meant to be now.Activate your circle of well being and balance your lifestyle.

You will be amazed at the progress you will make by creating a new mindset all because you flipped the script and you are following a new path.
